The shit people do for notes/likes/reblogs. Is it worth it? Having over 100 notes on an image that you didn’t photograph, on an image you right clicked and saved off the internet? You must feel good about your little to no real life self esteem that you need to steal, eh? Well congrats, you’re 100 notes deep.. but you’re still not half the person who took the actual picture.
I don’t know why when it comes to me and people in Jacksonville, I swear my name is fucking synonymous with photography. I tweeted about how I hate talking about photography with people who aren’t photographers or aren’t into it. It’s just leads to an awkward silence after I finish rambling on about things that no one will understand. Back to the point though; I don’t hate being labeled as a photographer, it’s just sometimes I swear that’s all I am to some people and that’s all they know about me. I mean before photography I constantly drew/painted realistic portraits, landscapes, cartoons and blah blah blah, but no one categorized me or talked to me about my artwork. So it’s just an annoyance. Because I don’t get why it happens you know? I am not Tu, the photographer. I am Tu, the 20 year old vietnamese college student that is working towards a FILMMAKING degree, is outgoing blah blah blah blah blah, that happens to earn money and loves photography. But I also love music, pretty much every other art form there is, movies, video games, sports (tennis over everything, which probably none of the people here know that), partying, roller coasters, women, cars, money, books, electronics, nice clothes and so fucking much more! So the question is: if I like a lot of things other people like… why do they talk to me about the one thing they don’t know anything about? Just saying. That’s not really what people with similar tastes would normally do..
