This is Me I am an 20 year-old nerd, a college student, an artist, easy to get along with, hard to understand, give me your time and I'll give you my effort. I have the whole world in front of me and I don't know which way to go. I'm here to rant, to share, and to explore. Blah, 'nuff said. ASK AWAY and here's my photography page and my youtube channel

Happy New Years! I would like to tell you exactly what I did all day today: lie in bed and sleep. Since this is a new year I’m going to give it my all again like this is a new project, and force my brain to think of creative photos everyday. Hope everyone who’s starting a 365 today stick with it the entire year! It’s definitely worth the effort.

I love my 24-70 f/2.8 lens and lens bracelet by Adam Elmakias. He’s got a whole range of different bracelets both Canon and Nikon and they’ve just been getting better and cooler all the time. Click the photo to go the facebook page.

I love my camera so much, the 24-70 is pure focus speed madness.

Photography Club had a meeting all about gear, and some amazing people from LensPal.com let us play around with some of their incredible lenses. Check out my flickr feed (http://www.flickr.com/photos/tudophoto/) for shots with a 10.5mm f/2.8 fisheye, both the 14-24mm and 24-70mm f/2.8’s, and even Canon’s ridiculously beautiful 85mm f/1.2 L!!!! But also see if you could point out the difference between Canon and Nikon by looking at them, because I certainly can’t. Brand really doesn’t mean anything, at the end of the day it’s all about taking engaging photographs.

Since selling my old D5000 a few weeks back and sold my zooms with it, I’ve only been using these two fantastic pieces of Nikon prime lenses. My 35mm f/1.8 is my everyday walk around lens and my 50mm f/1.4 is my go to lens for portraits. It is literally insane seeing how small the depth of field is on the 1.4, I love it! The one in the picture however was the first one I got and it was a little too slow on focusing and would get stuck during manual focus, but the free replacement I got that took this image is in fantastic form. I’m sorry about the long periods of days where I don’t update this project, but I have mostly decided this project will move into only portraiture and I don’t shoot that sort of thing everyday. But by no means does that mean I’m quitting, I will make it to the day when I see that Day 365/365 post!!
Why hello you fantastic new piece of glass<3
